Toward the Light

In the beginning, life was breathed into dark.

Before, 

We knew light but

Agreed with gravity

Trading life and flourishing 

For death.

In the midst, 

Life burst forth to bring wholeness from dust:

The hope of eternity.

Fear not:

Though gravity pulls fierce

True power is light

Let it move us to tears and to dance

Toward the fullness of life.

In the end, there is a promise to heal and set right.
